The rapper shocked the star-studded audience at last year's ceremony after he jumped on the stage to protest Swift's win for Best Female Video, saying the prize should have gone to Beyonce for her hit "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)."
West has kept a comparatively low profile since the incident, but he is reportedly planning to make his return with a performance at the 2010 awards show on Sept. 12.
Handler said, "I want to go and film some ridiculous stuff and see if we can do something with Kanye, because I always talk about Kanye. I'd like to get them (West and Swift) together. We've never really seen them together since then. ... We'll try to think of something clever to do with them, because that would be really fun."
